Financial aid is available to those who qualify. For more information on tuition assistance and the application process, please contact a financial aid office. Shasta School of Cosmetology is approved for and participates in the Title IV program, which is intended to defray the costs of attendance for those students eligible for financial aid.

Financial Aid Eligibility
To be eligible for financial aid, a student must:
Be admitted as a regular student
Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an eligible program on at least a half time basis
Be a citizen or an eligible non-citizen
Not owe a Pell Grant or SEOG refund at any school
Not be in default on a student loan at any school
Have financial need
Be making satisfactory progress (as defined by the school’s policy) during study
Be registered for selective service (if a male born after January 1, 1960)
Have a high school diploma, GED, completion of an approved home-schooling secondary program*
Agree to use any federal student aid received solely for educational purposes
*Foreign High School Diplomas must be translated into English, evaluated, and verified that it is the equivalent of a United States High School Diploma. Notary is not acceptable. Please see school admin office for acceptable verification companies.
Tuition Assistance Options
Shasta School of Cosmetology makes every effort to work with as many outside resources as we can.
